I had gas leaking from my 1980 Yamaha 850 xs so I took it to the shop. Mechanic told me I need a new carburetor, gaskets and cleaning. Also asked if he could fix my electric start. More than $1500 later I still have gas leaking and electric start does not work! He said “after you do this, your bike will be 100% “🚩🧢I also had to take my bike back more than three times, THROWING PARTS AT IT till coming to the conclusion that the lining in gas tank is causing problem! seem like he was trying to work with me, but at the end of the day problems we’re not fixed and I got stuck on the road multiple times!
