Sean did the rear brakes on my sportster. At first he said there was more than half of the pads left and not to change them yet and then he asked me how the brakes felt. They felt like they weren’t really stopping. He noticed the glazing on the rotor and used a different type of brake pads, which worked much much better. Thank you for that Sean lol I really appreciated your honesty. I will definitely be back and would recommend him to anybody with any type of motorcycle, not just Harley Davidson‘s
Do not take your bike here. It's liable to come back in pieces. He doesn't give a written estimate before starting work and then increases the price without approval. Also, he doesn't fix what he states that he will and yet still tries to charge money money. So let's update since the owner has decided to respond. Was there a written estimate before work was started? Was there approval for an increase in price before work that would increase the price began. If not, was the difference more than 10 percent of original asking price of the work. See none of this was followed and you have done people dirty. No reputable mechanic starts work without written paperwork stating what problems and costs are before the work ever begins.
